Editorial Practice

A reverend divine = William Gouge. According to the preliminaries of a reissue (STC 12115), this was dictated to William Pemble. Printers' names from STC. "An exposition of part of the fift and sixt chapters of S. Paules Epistle to the Ephesians" has separate dated title page (2A1) and pagination. It and the first title page were printed on a single bifolium, apparently by Felix Kingston. Reproduction of the original in the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign Campus). Library.
